  • What is the purpose of unifying professional networks under the new B Corp Consultants Program?

    The B Corp movement is entering a new phase and needs a consulting community that is globally aligned, well-trained, and consistent in quality.

    Unifying the programs will:

    • Create one harmonized professional program across Europe, Africa, and the U.S. & Canada region. For 2027 the plan is one unified program across all regions.
    • B Lab U.S. & Canada chose to offer the Trained B Consultants in our region to join the B Lab Europe Training, as we did not have the capacity to create a separate training and are focused instead on the 2027 Globally unified program.

    This Alternative Training Pathway is a stop gap option for 2026. This is only being offered to those in the Consultants Network (and work at B Corp certified Consultancies who support companies in getting certified as a B Corp).

  • Who gets to participate in the Accelerated Training Pathway?

    Only those who are in the Consultants Network who work at B Corp certified Consultancies, who support companies on B Corp Certification. All those that are eligible were emailed by B Lab with a link to sign up. No one should be forwarded this information or should send to another teammate.

  • What content does the Pathway entail?

    The Accelerated Training Pathway is a structured online learning journey, consisting of:

    • Self-paced modules covering B Lab Standards V2.1, the B Impact Platform, consulting best practices, the new certification process and assurance model.
    • Optional open office hour hosted by B Lab U.S. & Canada. The self-paced online modules are complemented by an optional open office hour. We will schedule this for September and it will be an open online space to ask questions, discuss the e-learning material further, and receive support during the retraining process..
    • Validation test. Upon completing the retraining course modules, you will be asked to demonstrate your understanding through a test on the B Lab Learning Platform.

    The program ensures everyone reaches a required competency level aligned with B Lab Standards V2.1.

  • What are the main milestones in the program?
    • August 19- October 18th: Accelerated Training Pathway in the B Lab Learning Platform runs for current Consultant Network members.
    • October 18th 2026: Deadline for training to be completed.
    • November 2026: All those that complete the training will be added as  B Corp Consultants for the U.S. & Canada region and the directory.
